How we rank installers

Each city page opens with a short "Top installers" list. The order comes from a published formula — nobody can pay to move up it.

1. Google rating, weighted by review volume. A 4.8 from 300 reviews outranks a 5.0 from 3.
2. Manufacturer dealer certification (for example Generac PowerPro or Kohler/Rehlko authorized dealer), when the company states it on its own website.
3. Years in business, as stated by the company, up to 30 years.
4. 24/7 or emergency service, a small bonus.

Where our information comes from

Business names, addresses, phone numbers, hours, and ratings come from public business listings. Brands, services, and dealer status come only from each company's own website, which we link on every listing. We don't publish review text and we never write reviews.

Featured listings

Companies can pay to appear in a labeled "Featured" spot. Featured listings never change the organic Top list.
